Hammond PJW363614L 36x36x14 Type 4X Fiberglass Wallmount Enclosure

The PJW363614L is the deep version of the square 36 in PJW Series enclosure, measuring 36.25 x 36.25 x 14.13 in (921 x 921 x 359 mm). This Type 4X fiberglass polyester wallmount box is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures where equipment may be hosed down, very wet, hot or in highly corrosive surroundings.

The gel-coat, fiberglass and resin box and cover are gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors that protect against outdoor weathering. Per the drawing, the wall is 0.15 in (3.91 mm), the door hangs on a continuous stainless steel hinge, and three stainless steel draw latches with keeper plates provide padlock provision; the series lists stainless steel butterfly type twist-latch fasteners. An EPDM gasket seals the cover.

This 36x36 in size has 8 collar studs for added stiffness. The 3/8 studs carry the optional 18P3333 inner panel, 33.00 x 33.00 in (838 x 838 mm), and include hardware: PVC spacers, stainless steel 3/8-16x2 threaded rod, internal teeth locking washers, flat washers and 3/8-16 hex head nuts. The drawing also shows an optional painted carbon steel back panel 0.105 in (2.67 mm) thick. The integrated mounting flange takes care of wall installation, and the polyester can be easily punched, cut or drilled.
