Hammond PJW363614L3PT 36x36x14 Type 4X Enclosure, 3-Point Handle

The PJW363614L3PT combines the deep 36.25 x 36.25 x 14.13 in (921 x 921 x 359 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester wallmount enclosure with a 316 stainless steel 3-point handle. It is intended for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures that see hose-down, very wet conditions, high temperatures or highly corrosive chemicals.

The box and cover are gel-coat, fiberglass and resin with a nominal 0.19 in (4.8 mm) wall and a gray finish with enhanced UV inhibitors. A continuous 316 stainless steel piano hinge carries the cover, and the 3-point latch with padlock provision closes it against an EPDM gasket. The fiberglass polyester is easily punched, cut or drilled for entries.

With a 36x36 in footprint, the enclosure has 8 collar studs for added stiffness and includes the mounting hardware: PVC spacers, SS 3/8-16x2 threaded rod, SS internal teeth locking washers, SS flat washers and SS 3/8-16 hex head nuts. Use optional inner panel 18P3333, 33.00 x 33.00 in (838 x 838 mm); the drawing also references optional painted carbon steel back panel P3636CS, 0.105 in (2.7 mm) thick. An integrated mounting flange is provided for wall mounting.
