Hammond PJW363610L3PT 36x36x10 Type 4X Enclosure, 3-Point Handle

The PJW363610L3PT is a 36.25 x 36.25 x 10.13 in (921 x 921 x 257 mm) Type 4X fiberglass polyester wallmount enclosure fitted with a 316 stainless steel 3-point handle. It is aimed at panel builders and electricians creating instrument enclosures, control housings for electric, hydraulic or pneumatic equipment, junction boxes or terminal wiring enclosures that must withstand hose-down, heavy moisture, heat or corrosive atmospheres.

The gel-coat, fiberglass and resin box and cover have a nominal 0.19 in (4.8 mm) wall and a gray finish with enhanced UV inhibitors. The cover rides a continuous 316 stainless steel piano hinge and is closed by the 3-point latch, which has padlock provision, compressing an EPDM gasket. Entries can be punched, cut or drilled in the field.

As a 36x36 in size it has 8 collar studs for added stiffness, with the mounting hardware included (PVC spacers, SS 3/8-16x2 threaded rod, SS internal teeth locking washers, SS flat washers and SS 3/8-16 hex head nuts). The optional inner panel is 18P3333, 33.00 x 33.00 in (838 x 838 mm), and the drawing references optional painted carbon steel back panel P3636CS, 0.105 in (2.7 mm) thick. Wall mounting is through the integrated flange.
