Shipping & Returns
Every order at Hammond Store ships by ground. Shipping is priced per item from its packed weight and carton size, and the exact charge is shown on the product page and at checkout before you pay.
Ground shipping
Parcels ship by ground and typically arrive in 1-5 business days after dispatch, to all 50 US states. Each item's rate is based on its packed shipping weight or carton size (whichever is greater), and small parts ordered together share a box, so a multi-item order costs less than the per-item rates added up. As a guide, a box weighing 1 lb ships for $16.89, 5 lb for $21.08, 10 lb for $23.16 and 30 lb for $40.66.
Heavy, oversize & freight items
Cartons over 50 lb or over 48″ long carry the carrier's additional-handling cost, which is already included in the rate shown. Cabinets, large enclosures and anything over 150 lb ship by LTL ground freight, typically 5-10 business days; several freight items in one order travel on the same shipment. We confirm the carrier and delivery window before dispatch. The exact shipping charge for every item is shown on its product page and at checkout.
Same-day dispatch
In-stock orders placed before 2:00 PM ET on a business day ship the same day. Delivery estimates shown on each product page are calculated from that cutoff and the US holiday calendar.
Backordered items
Parts shown as “available on backorder” are orderable now and ship as soon as manufacturer stock arrives, on the same shipping terms as stocked items. We confirm the lead time in writing before charging your card, and you can cancel at any point before the order ships.
30-day free returns
Unopened, unregistered hardware can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Return shipping is free — request an RMA from our team and we send a prepaid label. Software licences, subscriptions and support contracts are non-returnable once issued.
Shipping destinations
We ship to all 50 US states, including APO/FPO addresses. For deliveries outside the United States, or for consolidated multi-site rollouts, request a quote and a specialist will confirm freight terms and any duties before you order.
