The PJU14126HF is a solid-cover Type 4X junction box in the PJU Series, supplied with two glued polycarbonate flanges for mounting against a wall, panel or structure. It serves as an instrument enclosure, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housing, or junction and terminal wiring box in locations that may be hosed down, very wet, hot or corrosive.
Construction is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester for both box and cover, in gray with enhanced UV inhibitors. The cover hangs on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and is closed with captive stainless steel screws running into #10-32 brass inserts, retained by O-rings. A captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket provides the seal, and the material can be punched, cut or drilled for entries.
Enclosure size is 14.05 in x 12.27 in x 6.13 in (357 x 312 x 156 mm), shipping weight 9 lbs (4.08 kg). The drawing lists a flange slot distance of 14.62 in (371.35 mm) minimum to 14.75 in (374.65 mm) maximum, with stainless steel flange screws into brass inserts; mounting hardware is included.
Inside, #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional 14R1311 inner panel at 12.75 in x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm). The series is UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 listed, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and operates from -40°C to 130°C. PJU14126HF is REACH and RoHS compliant.
