Hammond PJU14126CCH 14x12x6 Clear Cover Type 4X Polyester Box with Feet

The PJU14126CCH pairs a gray fiberglass polyester Type 4X box with a clear polycarbonate cover, so indicators, meters or terminal markings inside can be read without opening the enclosure. It belongs to the PJU Series of continuous-hinge junction boxes with screw-fastened covers and comes with four polycarbonate feet for surface mounting.

The box is compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with enhanced UV inhibitors, and it can be punched, cut or drilled on site. The clear cover swings on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and closes onto a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket. Two stainless steel captive cover screws thread into #10-32 brass inserts and are retained with O-rings.

Enclosure size is 14.05 in x 12.27 in x 6.13 in (357 x 312 x 156 mm), and the shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). For mounting equipment, the optional 14R1311 inner panel measures 12.75 in x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm) and fastens to brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws. Back panels are offered in aluminum, white steel and galvannealed, or fiberglass.

Applications include instrument enclosures, control housings for electric, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, and terminal wiring in locations that may be hosed down or very wet. The series is UL 508A and cUL listed Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and operates from -40°C to 130°C. PJU14126CCH is REACH and RoHS compliant.
