Hammond PJU14126H 14x12x6 Solid Cover Type 4X Fiberglass Box with Feet

PJU14126H is a 14 x 12 x 6 Type 4X junction box with a solid fiberglass polyester cover and four polycarbonate mounting feet. Part of the PJU Series, it is designed for use as an instrument enclosure, an electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housing, or an electrical junction and terminal wiring box in wet, hot or highly corrosive conditions.

Box and cover are both compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering. The manufacturer short description reads "NONMET LIFTOFF HNG SC CVR FEET". The cover pivots on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin and is secured by captive stainless steel screws in threaded #10-32 brass inserts with retaining O-rings. A captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket seals the opening.

Overall size is 14.05 in x 12.27 in x 6.13 in (357 x 312 x 156 mm), with a shipping weight of 9 lbs (4.08 kg). The optional 14R1311 inner panel measures 12.75 in x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm) and mounts on brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws; aluminum, white steel and galvannealed, and fiberglass back panels are listed.

The feet attach with stainless steel screws, and mounting hardware is included. The PJU14126H series standards cover UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 plus IEC 60529 IP66, with operation from -40°C to 130°C and REACH and RoHS compliance.
