The PJ12126RW is a 12.13 in H x 12.13 in W x 6.13 in D (308 x 308 x 156 mm) Type 4X junction box with a raised lift-off window cover; its part page size is 12.32 x 12.32 x 6 in (313 x 313 x 152 mm). The bonded polycarbonate window keeps instruments, meters and indicators in view, making it useful for instrument enclosures, control housings and terminal wiring enclosures.
Both the box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors. The 0.13 in (3.30 mm) walls can be punched, cut or drilled. Impact index is 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) and the operating range is 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F).
Four 316 stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings fasten the cover into #10-32 brass inserts, compressing a captive oil resistant FIP polyurethane gasket for a positive seal where equipment may be hosed down or be very wet.
The PJ12126RW is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, IEC 60529 IP66, and RoHS and REACH compliant. Four 316 stainless steel feet mount to rear brass inserts, and the optional 14R1111 inner panel (10.75 x 10.88 in / 273 x 276 mm) installs on internal inserts. It ships at 8 lbs (3.63 kg).
