The PJ14126R is a 14.13 in H x 12.26 in W x 6.13 in D (359 x 311 x 156 mm) Type 4X wallmount junction box in fiberglass reinforced polyester, closed by a raised lift-off solid cover. It is designed for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, particularly where equipment may be hosed down or very wet.
Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors. The material is easily punched, cut or drilled, has an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), and is rated from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F), which suits high-temperature and highly corrosive environments.
Four stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings thread into #10-32 brass inserts, and the drawing calls out a closed cell neoprene gasket for the seal. Certifications include UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66; this lift-off solid cover model also meets Type 6P. It is RoHS and REACH compliant.
Four stainless steel mounting feet attach to #10-32 brass inserts at the rear. Internally, brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws take the optional 14R1311 inner panel, 12.75 x 10.88 in (324 x 276 mm), available in white powder coated steel, aluminum or fiberglass. Shipping weight is 9 lbs (4.08 kg).
