The PJ14126RH is a 14.13 in H x 12.26 in W x 6.13 in D (359 x 311 x 156 mm) fiberglass polyester Type 4X enclosure whose raised solid cover swings open on a continuous stainless steel hinge. It is intended for instrument enclosures, control housings for electric, hydraulic or pneumatic equipment, junction boxes and terminal wiring that need regular access.
The box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor use. It is easily punched, cut or drilled, carries an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), and operates from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F).
Two stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings close the door into #10-32 brass inserts, and the fasteners include a provision for padlocking. The drawing specifies a closed cell neoprene gasket, described in the series as captive and oil resistant.
The PJ14126RH is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
Four stainless steel mounting feet attach at the rear with #10-32 brass inserts and stainless feet screws. The optional 14R1311 inner panel (12.75 x 10.88 in / 324 x 276 mm) mounts on internal brass inserts. Shipping weight is 9 lbs (4.08 kg).
