The PJ12126RHW combines the 6 in deep square PJ body with a raised hinged cover that includes a bonded polycarbonate viewing window. The ordering table gives 12.13 in H x 12.13 in W x 6.13 in D (308 x 308 x 156 mm); the part page lists 12.32 x 12.32 x 6 in (313 x 313 x 152 mm). It is a good match for instrument enclosures and control housings where readouts must be checked without opening the door.
The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors against outdoor weathering. Walls are 0.13 in (3.30 mm) thick and easily punched, cut or drilled. The material carries a 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) impact index and operates from 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F).
A continuous 316 stainless steel hinge carries the window door, which closes with two 316 stainless steel captive screws with retaining O-rings into #10-32 brass inserts. The fasteners allow padlocking, and a captive oil resistant FIP polyurethane gasket keeps out water in hose-down and very wet locations.
The enclosure is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, IEC 60529 IP66, and RoHS and REACH compliant. It mounts on four 316 stainless steel feet and accepts the optional 14R1111 inner panel (10.75 x 10.88 in / 273 x 276 mm). Shipping weight for the PJ12126RHW is 8 lbs (3.63 kg).
