Hammond PJ12126R 12x12x6 in Raised Lift-Off Solid Cover Junction Box

The PJ12126R is the 6 in deep version of the square 12 x 12 PJ raised lid junction box, with a lift-off solid cover. The ordering table lists 12.13 in H x 12.13 in W x 6.13 in D (308 x 308 x 156 mm), while the part page gives 12.32 x 12.32 x 6 in (313 x 313 x 152 mm). The extra depth suits instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring.

Box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester with a gray finish and enhanced UV inhibitors. The drawing shows 0.13 in (3.30 mm) walls that are easily punched, cut or drilled; the impact index is 6.78 J (5 ft/lb) and the operating range is 130°C to -40°C (266°F to -40°F).

Four 316 stainless steel captive cover screws with retaining O-rings pull the cover down into #10-32 brass inserts against a captive oil resistant FIP polyurethane gasket.
