Hammond DNDMS1924BK1 2U 24in Solid Centered Shelf, 200 lb Rated

The DNDMS1924BK1 is a 2U solid centered rack shelf with a 24.00 in (610 mm) overall depth, built to support non-rackmount equipment in 19in 2-post rack systems. It is aimed at IT and telecom technicians, AV integrators and facilities teams who need a stable platform for gear that has no rack ears, such as servers, UPS units and network devices.

The shelf is formed from 16-gauge mild steel and finished in a textured black powder coat, a finish described by the manufacturer as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Front and rear flanges are formed for added strength and act as equipment retainers to help keep equipment from shifting on the shelf surface.

Because the mounting flanges are positioned for centered mounting, the DNDMS1924BK1 distributes load evenly between the front and rear rails of a 2-post rack rather than cantilevering it off the front rails only, which improves stability compared with front-only mounted shelves. This makes the 24in depth useful where deeper, heavier equipment needs balanced weight placement.
