Hammond DNDMS1918BK1 2U 18in Solid Centered Shelf, 200 lb Rated

The DNDMS1918BK1 is a 2U solid centered rack shelf with an 18.00 in (457 mm) depth, built for 19.00 in (483 mm) rack mounting. It gives IT, telecom and AV installers a stable platform for non-rackmount equipment such as servers, UPS units and network devices inside 2-post open frame racks.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel finished in a textured black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Front and rear flanges are formed for added strength and act as equipment retainers to help prevent gear from shifting on the shelf. The solid deck provides full-surface support; a vented version, DNDMV1918BK1, covers the same 18.00 in depth where airflow is preferred.

The centered mounting design positions the shelf so weight is distributed evenly between front and rear rails, which improves stability compared with front-only mounted shelves and suits deeper equipment. Overall height is 3.50 in (89 mm), occupying 2U of rack space, and the maximum load rating is 200 lb (91 kg). The front panel includes eight 0.25 x 0.44 in mounting slots. Mounting hardware is not supplied with the shelf.
