The DNDMS1920BK1 is a 2U solid centered rack shelf built to support non-rackmount equipment in 2-post rack systems. It is aimed at telecom technicians, IT and data center teams, AV integrators and industrial control installers who need a stable, load-bearing platform for gear that has no rack ears of its own.
The shelf is formed from mild steel in 16-gauge construction and finished in a textured black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Front and rear flanges are formed for added strength and act as equipment retainers to help prevent gear from shifting on the shelf. The solid deck provides full-surface support where a vented panel is not required.
Overall dimensions are 3.50 in (89 mm) high by 20.00 in (508 mm) deep, occupying 2U of rack space with a 19.00 in (483 mm) mounting width. The centered mounting position distributes weight evenly between the front and rear rails of a 2-post rack, improving stability compared with front-only mounted shelves, and the shelf is rated for a maximum load of 200 lb (91 kg).
