The DNDMS19BK1 is a 2U solid centered rack shelf with a 19.50 in (495 mm) overall depth, built for 19 in (483 mm) rack mounting. It is intended for IT, telecom and AV installers who need a stable platform for equipment that has no rack ears — servers, UPS units, network devices and similar gear — in 2-post open frame racks.
Construction is 16-gauge mild steel finished in a textured black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Front and rear flanges are formed for added strength and act as equipment retainers to help prevent gear from shifting. The shelf surface is solid rather than vented, giving full-surface support where airflow through the shelf is not required.
The centered mounting design positions the shelf between the front and rear rails so weight is distributed evenly across both, improving stability compared with front-only mounted shelves. Maximum rated load is 200 lb (91 kg). Overall height is 3.50 in (89 mm), occupying 2U of rack space, and the shelf includes eight 0.25 x 0.44 in mounting slots in its flanges. Mounting hardware is not supplied with the shelf.
