Hammond DNDMS23BK1 2U 23in Solid Centered Rack Shelf, 200 lb

The DNDMS23BK1 is a 2U solid centered rack shelf built for 23in (584 mm) mounting racks, giving IT, telecom and AV teams a stable platform for equipment that has no rack-mount ears of its own. Its centered mounting design positions the shelf between the front and rear rails of a 2-post rack so the load is distributed evenly across both, improving stability compared with front-only mounted shelves.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel finished in a textured black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Front and rear flanges are formed for added strength and double as equipment retainers that help keep gear from shifting on the solid shelf surface. The solid deck provides full-surface support; vented versions are offered elsewhere in the DNDM Series where airflow is the priority.

This part occupies 2U with an overall height of 3.50 in (89 mm) and a depth of 19.50 in (495 mm), with an inside depth of 19.39 in (492 mm) and a shelf width of 21.25 in (540 mm). The rated maximum load is 200 lb (91 kg) and shipping weight is 15 lbs (6.80 kg). The front flange carries eight 0.25 x 0.44 in mounting slots across a 22.31 in (567 mm) span for 23in EIA rail mounting; mounting hardware is not supplied with the shelf.
