Hammond C4SP7731VBK1 44U Vented Side Panels for 31.5" Deep Cabinet

C4SP7731VBK1 is a pair of vented side panels for the C4 Series modular server rack cabinet system, sized for a 44U frame with a 31.50 in (800 mm) depth. It is intended for data center, enterprise IT and network infrastructure builds where the cabinet is configured from separate frames, rails, doors and panels rather than bought pre-assembled. Within the C4 range, side panels are offered in both solid and vented versions; the vented version is used for thermal induction where additional side airflow into the cabinet is wanted.

The panels are mild steel, part of the C4 platform that uses a 14-gauge steel cabinet frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels. The finish on this part number is black textured paint; C4 powder coat finishes are GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Each panel carries a black plastic handle and four slotted quarter-turn latches for tool-light removal, plus a 10-32 x 1/2 bonding stud so the panel can be tied into the cabinet's grounding and bonding provisions.

Drawing dimensions for the panel are 76.94 in (1954 mm) by 27.94 in (710 mm), and the pair ships at 100 lbs (45.36 kg). Note that C4SP7731VBK1 is sold in pairs, so one order number covers both sides of the cabinet.

The complete C4 cabinet, when assembled by Hammond, is a UL2416 listed rack with a 3000 lb load rating and is seismic rated to a 1200 lb dynamic load (IBC, CBC, NBC and ASCE standards). Individual components such as side panels are not UL2416 or seismic rated on their own and must be assembled into a complete cabinet to meet those certification requirements. The part is TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant and manufactured in North America, supporting government and regulated procurement.
