Hammond C4SP7731SBK1 44U Solid Side Panels for 31.5" Deep Cabinets

The C4SP7731SBK1 is a pair of solid side panels for the C4 modular server rack cabinet system, sized for 44U frames with a 31.50 in (800 mm) depth. It is intended for data center, enterprise IT and network infrastructure teams who build a C4 cabinet from frame, rails, doors and panels and need closed sides for a sealed, finished enclosure.

Panels are formed from mild steel and finished in a black textured powder coat, matching the rest of the C4 platform. Within the C4 system, doors and panels are 16-gauge steel, working with the 14-gauge frame and 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets. Each panel in the C4SP7731SBK1 pair carries a black plastic handle and four slotted quarter-turn latches for tool-free removal when you need side access to cabling or equipment, plus four 0.25 x 0.33 in slots and a 10-32 x 1/2 bonding stud so the panel can be bonded to the cabinet frame as part of the system's grounding and bonding provisions.

Each panel measures 27.94 in (710 mm) wide by 76.94 in (1954 mm) high, and the pair ships at 102 lbs (46.27 kg). Solid side panels are the closed alternative to the vented C4SP7731VBK1 panels used for thermal induction.

C4 cabinets are UL2416 listed at a 3000 lb load rating and seismic rated to a 1200 lb dynamic load (IBC, CBC, NBC, ASCE) when assembled by the manufacturer; individual components are not UL2416 or seismic rated independently and must be assembled as a complete cabinet to meet certification requirements. The part is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America.
