Hammond C4SP7342VBK1 42U Vented Side Panels for 42-Inch Deep Cabinet

C4SP7342VBK1 is a pair of vented side panels for the C4 Series modular server rack cabinet system, sized for 42U frames (73 in usable mounting height) at 42.00 in (1067 mm) cabinet depth. It is intended for data center, enterprise IT and network infrastructure builds where the cabinet frame is configured from separate frames, rails, doors and panels rather than bought pre-assembled.

The panels are mild steel with a black textured powder coat finish, matching the C4 platform's 16-gauge doors and panels. Venting provides thermal induction through the cabinet sides, making this version suited to active server and network equipment rather than fully sealed enclosures. Each panel carries a black plastic handle and four slotted quarter-turn latches for tool-free removal, plus a 10-32 x 1/2 bonding stud so the panel can be bonded and grounded with the rest of the cabinet.

Drawing dimensions for the panel are 73.44 in (1865 mm) high by 38.44 in (976 mm), with mounting slots along the edges for engagement with the C4 frame. Shipping weight for the pair is 102 lbs (46.27 kg). C4SP7342VBK1 is sold in pairs, covering both sides of one cabinet.

The C4 platform uses a 14-gauge steel cabinet frame with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels, rated to 3000 lb UL2416 capacity, and is seismic rated to 1200 lb dynamic load (IBC, CBC, NBC, ASCE standards) when assembled by the manufacturer. Individual components such as these side panels are not UL2416 or seismic rated on their own and must be assembled as a complete cabinet to meet certification requirements. The parts are TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, with RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliance declared.
