Hammond C4SP7336VBK1 42U Vented Side Panel Pair for 36 in Cabinet

C4SP7336VBK1 is a pair of vented side panels for the Hammond C4 modular server rack cabinet system, sized for 42U frames with a 36.00 in (914 mm) overall depth. It is intended for data center, enterprise IT and network infrastructure teams who are building up a C4 cabinet from frames, rails, doors and panels and need thermal induction through the sides of the enclosure rather than a fully closed shell.

The panels are formed from mild steel and finished in black textured powder coat, in line with the C4 platform's 16-gauge door and panel construction. Each panel measures 73.44 in (1865 mm) high by 32.44 in (824 mm) and includes a black plastic handle plus four slotted quarter-turn latches for tool-free removal when you need access to cabling or equipment at the side of the frame. A 10-32 x 1/2 in bonding stud is provided so the panel can be tied into the cabinet's grounding and bonding scheme, part of the grounding provisions carried throughout the C4 frame, doors and panels.

C4SP7336VBK1 ships as a pair, with a shipping weight of 102 lbs (46.27 kg) for the set. Because the C4 is a modular system, side panels are ordered separately from the frame; match the panel to the frame's rack units and depth so the fit is correct. A solid version of the same size is also available in the series as C4SP7336SBK1.

The C4 cabinet, when assembled by Hammond as a complete cabinet, is a UL2416 listed rack with a 3000 lb load rating and is seismic rated to 1200 lb dynamic load (IBC, CBC, NBC, ASCE). Individual components such as this panel pair are not UL2416 or seismic rated on their own. The part is manufactured in Canada, TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, and RoHS and REACH compliant.
