The 1583T12D1BKX is a 1U, 19-inch rack mount basic PDU (outlet strip) rated 15A single-phase at 120 VAC, built for IT, AV, broadcast and industrial racks where equipment must be powered from both the front and rear of the rack. It carries 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets split 6 front and 6 rear, so patch-field devices, media converters and rack-mounted gear can be plugged in on whichever side is most convenient.
This is the "T" version of the series, which means no rocker switch: a red power indicator light shows that the strip is live, and a resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker guards against accidental overload. The unit ships with a heavy-duty 15 ft cord — 14/3 SJT type wire for extreme temperature ranges with an integral moulded plug — terminated in a NEMA L5-15P locking plug per the series ordering table and part drawing.
