Hammond 1583T12B1BKX 1U 12-Outlet Rack PDU, 15A, 15 ft Cord

The 1583T12B1BKX is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic PDU (outlet strip) rated 15A at 120 VAC single-phase, with a total of 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets split 6 on the front and 6 on the rear. The dual-facing outlet layout suits IT, AV and broadcast racks where some devices are cabled from the rear while patch-panel-side or front-accessed equipment needs a nearby receptacle. This version uses a red power indicator light rather than an illuminated on/off rocker switch, so power is always live to the outlets when the cord is plugged in.

Construction is painted steel, black front and back, finished in RAL9005 black powder coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The unit measures 1.72 in (44 mm) high, 19.00 in (483 mm) wide and 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, and ships at 4 lbs (1.81 kg). A resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker is built in to guard against accidental overload.
