The 1555F2GY is a rectangular polycarbonate enclosure from the 1555 Series, 120 x 90 x 61 mm nominal (the part page lists 4.7 x 3.5 x 2.4 in, or 119 x 89 x 61 mm). Its board area suits integrators and OEMs mounting printed circuit boards or DIN rail components outdoors or in UL 508A listed equipment.
Polycarbonate versions are cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and independently tested to IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The material is UV stabilized for outdoor use, rated UL94-5VA, and carries an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021, with a recommended range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Internally, size F offers molded DIN rail mounting tabs together with threaded M3 integral brass inserts and/or standoffs for #6 self tapping screws, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm thick P.C. boards, and lid standoffs. The 1555F2GY accepts a board up to 77.47 x 108.41 mm, and the 1554FPL steel inner panel fits in the box or lid.
The light gray RAL 7035 styled lid closes on a two piece tongue and groove joint with a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose. Four included self captivating M4 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant inserts (recommended 43-57 ozf-in, 30-40 cN-m). Four 4.00 mm mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and accept the 1554FT foot kit. Accessories include 1554FGASKET and the 1554FCL clear lid. Shipping weight is 0.4 lbs (0.18 kg), shrink wrapped.
