Hammond 1555FGY 120x90x61mm ABS Watertight Enclosure, IP66

The 1555FGY is a general purpose ABS enclosure measuring 120 x 90 x 61 mm nominal (4.7 x 3.5 x 2.4 in, or 119 x 89 x 61 mm, on the part page). With room for a board up to 77.47 x 108.41 mm, it is a practical indoor housing for printed circuit boards and DIN rail mounted components.

The interior provides molded DIN rail mounting tabs, threaded M3 integral brass inserts and/or standoffs for #6 self tapping screws, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm thick P.C. boards, and standoffs in the lid. An optional 1554FPL steel inner panel fits in the box or the lid, and 1591MM100 M3-0.5 x 8mm screws are listed for panel or board mounting.

ABS versions are molded from UL94-HB general purpose material, tested to and meet IP66, and carry an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021. They are recommended for -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F) and for indoor use, and are not UL listed. The polycarbonate 1555F2GY is available where UL 508A listing or outdoor use is required.

The styled lid in light gray RAL 7035 seals with tongue and groove construction and a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose. Four included M4 stainless steel lid screws are self captivating and thread into corrosion resistant inserts; recommended torque is 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Four 4.00 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel also accept the 1554FT foot kit. The 1555FGY ships shrink wrapped at 0.35 lbs (0.16 kg).
