Hammond 1555EEGY 90x90x91mm Deep ABS Watertight Enclosure, IP66

The 1555EEGY is a deep, square general purpose ABS enclosure: 90 x 90 mm with a 91 mm total height in the ordering table (the part page gives 3.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 in, or 89 x 89 x 89 mm). It is intended for indoor applications where DIN rail modules or taller components need more room than the 61 mm size E provides.

Internal features include molded DIN rail mounting tabs, threaded M3 integral brass inserts and/or standoffs for #6 self tapping screws, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm thick P.C. boards and standoffs in the lid. Maximum board size is 77.47 x 78.41 mm. The 1554EPL steel inner panel, ordered separately, is shared with size E.

ABS versions are molded from general purpose UL94-HB material, tested to and meet IP66, and have an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021. The recommended operating temperature is -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F), for indoor use. The 1555EEGY is not UL listed; its polycarbonate counterpart, 1555EE2GY, is cUL and UL 508A listed.

A tongue and groove light gray RAL 7035 styled lid seals on a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose, with four included M4 stainless steel lid screws in corrosion resistant inserts (recommended 43-57 ozf-in, 30-40 cN-m). Four 4.00 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel accept wall screws or the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554ECL clear lid is compatible. Shipping weight is 0.3 lbs (0.14 kg).
