Hammond 1555EE2GY 90x90x91mm Deep Polycarbonate NEMA 4X Enclosure

The 1555EE2GY is the deep version of the square size E polycarbonate enclosure: 90 x 90 mm with a 91 mm total height per the ordering table (the part page lists 3.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 in, or 89 x 89 x 89 mm). The added depth accommodates DIN rail devices or tall components for integrators working outdoors or to UL 508A.

It is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, and polycarbonate versions have been independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The UV stabilized material has a UL94-5VA flame rating and IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021, with a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

Mounting options include molded DIN rail tabs, threaded M3 integral brass inserts and/or standoffs for #6 self tapping screws, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm thick P.C. boards, and lid standoffs. The 1555EE2GY accepts boards up to 77.47 x 78.41 mm and shares the 1554EPL inner panel, 1554EGASKET gasket and 1554ECL clear lid with size E.

The styled lid in light gray RAL 7035 seals with tongue and groove construction and a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose, secured by four included self captivating M4 stainless steel screws into corrosion resistant inserts (43-57 ozf-in, 30-40 cN-m). Four 4.00 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel also fit the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.3 lbs (0.14 kg), shrink wrapped.
