Hammond 1555FL2GY 120x90x45mm Low-Profile Polycarbonate NEMA 4X Enclosure

The 1555FL2GY is the low-profile version of the 120 x 90 mm polycarbonate size in the 1555 Series, with a 45 mm total height (4.72 x 3.54 x 1.77 in nominal; the part page lists 4.7 x 3.5 x 1.77 in, or 119 x 89 x 45 mm). It suits flat circuit boards and slim assemblies for integrators and OEMs who need an outdoor-capable, UL 508A listed box.

Polycarbonate versions are cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13; the part page lists IP68 for this part. The UV stabilized material is rated UL94-5VA and IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, with a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

The 1555FL2GY accepts a P.C. board up to 108.4 x 77.5 mm. Series mounting provisions for this size include internal DIN rail mounting tabs, threaded M3 integral brass inserts and/or standoffs for #6 self tapping screws, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm thick P.C. boards, and standoffs molded in the lid. The 1554FPL steel inner panel, 1554FGASKET gasket and 1554FCL clear lid are shared with size F.

The light gray RAL 7035 styled lid seals with two piece tongue and groove construction and a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose inside the enclosure. It is secured by four included M4 stainless steel machine screws threaded into corrosion resistant inserts. Four 4.30 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel accept wall fixings or the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.36 lbs (0.16 kg).
