The 1555G2GY is a light gray (RAL 7035) watertight polycarbonate enclosure from the 1555 Series, sized at 120 x 90 mm with a total height of 81 mm. It is built for OEM engineers and integrators who need a sealed housing for printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components, including installations outdoors.
The polycarbonate body is UV stabilized for outdoor use and carries a UL94 5VA flame rating. It is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, rated IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, and has an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021. Recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Inside, the box measures 112.39 x 78.39 mm with 72.00 mm of height, and accepts a P.C. board up to 77.47 x 108.41 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards give several mounting options; the optional 1554FPL steel inner panel fits in the box or lid.
The styled lid offers a smooth recess for a membrane keypad or label. It seals on a two-piece tongue and groove joint with a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket (supplied loose) and is secured by four captive M4 stainless steel screws into corrosion resistant inserts; recommended torque is 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Four 4.00 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and also accept the 1554FT foot kit.
