Hammond XF10230 10 in Filtered Fan Box, 560 CFM, 230V

The XF10230 is the 230 V version of the XF Series 10 in filtered fan package, the largest fan box in the range. It is suited to large electrical enclosures on 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz supplies that need high-volume filtered airflow. Typically the fan box draws air into the enclosure and a filter grill serves as the outlet; it is shipped to pressurize and can be user modified to exhaust.

Per the ordering table it delivers 560 CFM free-flow air at a nominal 1600 RPM, with 0.45 A running current and 60 W; the part drawing lists 550 CFM and rates the 230 VAC version at 0.14 A. It is supplied with 12 in lead wires, uses UR/CUR/CE approved fan motors, and is CSA listed on fan only. The series is noted for exceptionally quiet operation.

Construction is heavy-gauge steel with a painted grey steel case and a polished stainless steel front screen. The washable aluminum filter has adhesive-coated baffle surfaces, is held by a knurled thumb nut, and can be recoated after cleaning. Replacement filters are XFF10 (package of 3).

A drilling template, one grill and one filter are included; the XFG10 exhaust grill and filter (11.63 x 13.00 in) is normally also required and is ordered separately. The XF10230 is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships at 10.5 lb (4.76 kg).
