Hammond XF10115 10 in Filtered Fan Box, 560 CFM, 115V

The XF10115 is the 10 in, 115 V filtered fan package and the largest fan box in the XF Series. It is intended for larger electrical enclosures that need high-volume filtered cooling air, and is used by panel builders, integrators and facilities teams. In a typical arrangement the fan box pulls air into the enclosure and a filter grill acts as the outlet. It ships to pressurize and can be user modified to exhaust.

The ordering table lists 560 CFM free-flow air delivery at a nominal 1600 RPM, 0.87 A running and 60 W on 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz; the part drawing lists 550 CFM and rates the 115 VAC version at 0.29 A. It has 12 in lead wires, UR/CUR/CE approved fan motors and CSA listing on fan only, and the series is noted for exceptionally quiet operation.

It is built from heavy-gauge steel with a painted grey steel case and polished stainless steel front screen. The washable aluminum filter is coated with adhesive baffle surfaces for dust and dirt collection and can be recoated after cleaning; it is secured with a knurled thumb nut. Replacement filters are XFF10, packaged in 3s.

The fan housing is 11.13 x 11.13 x 4.56 in (283 x 283 x 116 mm). The drawing shows an overall assembly of 330.10 mm [12.996 in] by 295.20 mm [11.622 in], 121.50 mm [4.783 in] deep, with a 285.75 mm [11.250 in] square cutout and 4 x Ø0.190 in holes; the part page lists a size of 6.13 x 7.38 x 2.38 in. Secure with #10 hardware using the included drilling template. One grill and filter are included, and the XFG10 exhaust grill and filter (11.63 x 13.00 in) is normally also required and ordered separately.
