Hammond XF6115 6 in Filtered Fan Box, 220 CFM, 115V

The XF6115 is the 6 in, 115 V filtered fan package in the XF Series, stepping up to 220 CFM for enclosures that need roughly double the airflow of the 4 in model. It is a complete forced-air cooling kit for electrical enclosures used by panel builders, integrators and maintenance teams. The fan box normally pulls air into the enclosure while a filter grill acts as the outlet; it ships to pressurize and can be user modified to exhaust.

The ordering table lists 220 CFM free-flow air delivery at a nominal 3300 RPM, 0.29 A running and 33 W on 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz; the drawing rates the 115 VAC version at 0.54 A. It has 12 in lead wires, UR/CUR/CE approved fan motors and CSA listing on the fan only, and the series is noted for exceptionally quiet operation.

Construction is heavy-gauge steel, with a painted grey steel case and polished stainless steel front screen. The washable aluminum filter is coated with adhesive baffle surfaces that trap dust and dirt and can be recoated after cleaning; it is held with a knurled thumb nut. Replacement filters are XFF6 in packages of 3.

The fan housing is 7.13 x 7.13 x 3.00 in (181 x 181 x 76 mm), and the part page lists 7.63 x 8.88 x 3 in (194 x 226 x 76 mm). The drawing shows a 224.90 mm [8.854 in] by 193.60 mm [7.622 in] assembly, a 184.15 mm [7.250 in] square cutout and 4 x Ø0.190 in holes; secure with #10 hardware using the included drilling template. One grill and filter are included, and the matching XFG6 exhaust grill and filter (7.63 x 8.88 in) is normally required and ordered separately.
