Hammond URR27U 27U Universal 10-32 Rack Mount Rails, Pair

The URR27U is a pair of 27U universal rack mount rails used to add industry-standard 10-32 rack mounting to custom equipment, cabinets and OEM enclosures. It is aimed at equipment manufacturers, system integrators and enclosure builders who need a durable, standards-compliant mounting interface inside a housing of their own design.

Each rail is formed from heavy-duty 12-gauge mild steel with a black powder coat finish, and the folded rear flange increases rigidity while providing additional mounting points for accessories, cable management or structural support. The mounting holes are precision 10-32 tapped and comply with EIA-310 / TIA rack standards on 1.75 in (44 mm) typical EIA spacing, so standard rack-mount equipment bolts straight in. Rack units are marked on the rail to simplify equipment installation and future expansion.

This URR27U pair measures 47.25 in (1200 mm) high with 46.75 in (1187 mm) of 27U usable mounting space. Each rail is 0.62 in (16 mm) wide and 1.50 in (38 mm) deep, and the nominal listed size for the pair is 47.25 in x 19 in x 1.5 in (1,200 mm x 483 mm x 38 mm). Shipping weight is 4.6 lbs (2.09 kg).

The universal design suits 19-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch rack mounting applications, making the rails useful across commercial, industrial, telecommunications, military and utility markets. They can also serve as replacement rails for Hammond RB-2PW Wall Racks and 24-inch wide HWC Wall Cabinets.
