Hammond HWCWD3027UBK 27U Tinted Window Door for 30" Wall Cabinets

The HWCWD3027UBK is a 27U locking front door with a tinted (smoked) acrylic window, made exclusively for use with Hammond HWC Series wall mount cabinets that are 30 inches wide. It suits IT and AV integrators, facilities teams and OEM engineers who need to secure network or audio-visual equipment in a wall cabinet while keeping installed gear, patch fields and status indicators visible.

Construction is 16-gauge steel finished in a textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat that complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The window insert is 0.24 in (6 mm) smoked acrylic measuring 29.69 in x 20.00 in (754 mm x 508 mm), giving a clear view of the rack interior. The door assembly measures 50.25 in x 30 in x 1.34 in (1,276 mm x 762 mm x 34 mm) and ships at 14 lbs (6.35 kg).

Hinges can be mounted on the left or right, so the door can be set up to swing away from walls, corners or adjacent equipment. Hinge components and latch hardware ship loose for field assembly, and the kit includes surface door hinges (LH and RH), hinge cover plates, a draw latch and latch striker, thread cutting screws, and two stick-on rubber bumper feet. A snap-latch lock with two keys and door mounting hardware are included.

HWCWD3027UBK is manufactured in North America of mild steel, is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, and TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases. Latch replacement kits and the HWCF wall rack cabinet sealing and filter kit are available as separate accessories.
