Hammond HWCWD3012UBK 12U 30-Inch Tinted Window Locking Door

The HWCWD3012UBK is a 12U locking front door with a tinted (smoked) acrylic window, made exclusively for use with 30 in wide Hammond HWC Series wall mount cabinets. It suits IT and AV integrators, facilities teams and OEM engineers who need to secure network, telecom or control equipment while keeping status LEDs and front panels visible without opening the enclosure.

Construction is 16-gauge steel with a 0.24 in (6 mm) smoked acrylic viewing panel. The door is finished in textured RAL9005 black powder paint coat, which complies with the Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The part is built from mild steel and manufactured in North America.

Nominal size is 24 in x 30 in x 1.34 in (610 mm x 762 mm x 34 mm), with the drawing showing an overall panel width of 29.69 in (754 mm), a height of 24.00 in (610 mm) and a 0.84 in (21 mm) door panel depth. Shipping weight is 14 lbs (6.35 kg).

HWCWD3012UBK ships with door mounting hardware, a snap-latch lock and two keys, and the hinges can be mounted on the left or right so the swing direction can be set to suit the installation. Supplied components include right- and left-hand surface door hinges, two hinge cover plates, two stick-on rubber bumper feet, four #10-24 x 3/8 in black thread-cutting screws, a draw latch and a latch striker; hinge components and latch hardware are shipped loose.

The door is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases. Other door styles in the same series include solid, 64% airflow vented and positive pressure filter fan versions.
