Hammond URR18U 18U Universal 10-32 Threaded Rack Rails, Pair

The URR18U is an 18U universal rack mount rail set, sold as a pair, for OEM equipment manufacturers, system integrators and enclosure builders who need to add industry-standard rack mounting to a custom design. Each rail carries EIA-310 / TIA compliant 10-32 tapped mounting holes, so standard rack-mount equipment, panels and shelves bolt straight in.

Construction is heavy-duty 12-gauge mild steel with a black powder coat finish, and a folded rear flange that increases rigidity while providing additional mounting points for accessories, cable management or structural support. Integrated rack unit markings along the rail simplify equipment installation and future expansion.

Each rail measures 31.50 in (800 mm) high with a 0.62 in (16 mm) wide mounting face and 1.50 in (38 mm) depth, giving 31.00 in (787 mm) of 18U hole spacing at typical EIA 1.75 in (44 mm) rack unit pitch. The pair ships at a nominal 31.5 in x 19 in x 1.5 in (800 mm x 483 mm x 38 mm) with a shipping weight of 3.05 lbs (1.38 kg). Slots measuring 0.28 in x 0.78 in, plus 0.27 in (7 mm) and 0.18 in (4 mm) diameter holes, are provided for fastening the rails into your own housing. Mounting hardware is not included.

URR18U rails can be integrated into custom housings, equipment cabinets, consoles, mobile racks and test fixtures, and also serve as replacement rails for Hammond RB-2PW Wall Racks and 24-inch wide HWC Wall Cabinets. They suit 19-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch rack mounting applications across commercial, industrial, telecommunications, military and utility markets.
