Hammond URR10U 10U Universal Rack Rails, 10-32 Tapped Pair

The URR10U is a pair of 10U universal rack mount rails from the URR Series, intended for equipment manufacturers, system integrators and enclosure builders who need to add industry-standard 19-inch rack mounting capability to a custom design. It suits network appliances, industrial controllers, battery enclosures, communications cabinets, laboratory instruments and defense systems, providing a mounting interface that complies with EIA-310/TIA rack standards.

Construction is heavy-duty 12-gauge mild steel with a black powder coat finish (drawing notes painted black thin film), giving a durable mounting solution for custom rack equipment, electronic enclosures, industrial systems and OEM designs. A folded rear flange increases rigidity while providing additional mounting points for accessories, cable management or structural support, and integrated rack unit markings at 1.75 in (44 mm) typical EIA spacing simplify equipment installation and future expansion.

Each URR10U rail offers 10U of usable mounting height: 17.50 in (445 mm) overall with 17.00 in (432 mm) of 10U hole spacing, a rail face width of 0.62 in (16 mm) and a depth of 1.50 in (38 mm). The nominal listed size for the pair is 17.5 in x 19 in x 1.5 in (445 mm x 483 mm x 38 mm), and shipping weight is 1.75 lbs (0.79 kg). Precision 10-32 tapped mounting holes accept standard rack-mount equipment and 10-32 mounting hardware, which is not included.

The universal design allows the rails to be integrated into custom housings, equipment cabinets, consoles, mobile racks, test fixtures and enclosures from virtually any manufacturer, and they are compatible with 19-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch rack mounting applications. They can also serve as replacement rails for Hammond RB-2PW Wall Racks and 24-inch wide HWC Wall Cabinets.
