Hammond URR14U 14U Universal 10-32 Threaded Rack Rails, Pair

The URR14U is a 14U universal rack mount rail, sold as a pair, for adding industry-standard 10-32 threaded rack mounting to custom equipment, cabinets and OEM enclosures. It is aimed at equipment manufacturers, system integrators and enclosure builders who need a durable, EIA-compliant mounting interface in a network appliance, industrial controller, battery enclosure, communications cabinet, laboratory instrument or defense system.

Construction is heavy-duty 12-gauge mild steel with a black powder coat (painted black thin film) finish. A folded rear flange increases rigidity while providing additional mounting points for accessories, cable management or structural support. Rack units are marked on the rail to simplify equipment installation and future expansion.

Each URR14U rail provides 14U of mounting space with a mounting height of 24.50 in (622 mm), a rail width of 0.62 in (16 mm) and a mounting depth of 1.50 in (38 mm). The 14U hole pattern spans 24.00 in (610 mm) on typical 1.75 in (44 mm) EIA spacing, with #10-32 tapped holes. Nominal shipping size is 24.5 in x 19 in x 1.5 in (622 mm x 483 mm x 38 mm) and shipping weight is 2.4 lbs (1.09 kg).

The universal design lets the rails be integrated into custom housings, equipment cabinets, consoles, mobile racks, test fixtures and enclosures from virtually any manufacturer, and they are compatible with 19-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch rack mounting applications. They can also serve as replacement rails for Hammond RB-2PW Wall Racks and 24-inch wide HWC Wall Cabinets. Mounting hardware is not included with the URR14U.

The rails are TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility, and are RoHS, REACH and USMCA compliant.
