Hammond URR16U 16U Universal 10-32 Rack Rails, Sold In Pairs

The URR16U is a pair of 16U universal rack mount rails with 10-32 threaded mounting holes, intended for OEM equipment manufacturers, system integrators and enclosure builders who need to add industry-standard rack mounting to a custom design. Each rail carries EIA-310 / TIA compliant hole spacing, so standard rack-mount equipment bolts straight in.

Rails are formed from heavy-duty 12-gauge mild steel and finished in black powder coat (painted black thin film). A folded rear flange increases rigidity while providing additional mounting points for accessories, cable management or structural support. Rack units are marked on the rail to simplify equipment installation and future expansion.

Mounting dimensions for the URR16U are 28.00 in (711 mm) high by 0.62 in (16 mm) wide by 1.50 in (38 mm) deep, giving 27.50 in (698 mm) of 16U spacing. The nominal listed size is 28 in x 19 in x 1.5 in (711 mm x 483 mm x 38 mm) and shipping weight is 2.85 lbs (1.29 kg). The drawing shows #10-32 tapped holes on typical EIA spacing at 1.75 in (44 mm) rack unit increments, 0.27 in (7 mm) and 0.18 in (4 mm) holes, and 0.28 in x 0.78 in slots.

The URR16U is compatible with 19-inch, 23-inch and 24-inch rack mounting applications, and the series rails can also serve as replacement rails for Hammond RB-2PW Wall Racks and 24-inch wide HWC Wall Cabinets. Rails are sold as a pair; mounting hardware is not included. Manufactured in Canada in an ISO 9001 certified facility, TAA-compliant, USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant.
