The SDC249U24BK is a 9U enclosed wall-mount rack cabinet from the SDC Multi-Mount Wall-Mount Rack Cabinet Series, built for securely housing 19-inch rack equipment in space-constrained environments where protection, organization, and accessibility are required. It suits IT, telecom, and edge network deployments handled by integrators, low-voltage contractors, and facilities teams who need a compact enclosure rather than an open frame.

Construction is 16-gauge steel for the frame, cover, and doors, with 12-gauge rails, giving static load ratings of up to 150 lb wall or ceiling mounted and 800 lb freestanding, plus integrated rack unit markings for easier equipment layout. The mild steel cabinet is finished in RAL9005 black textured powder coat, a GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA, and RoHS compliant low-emitting, corrosion-resistant finish suitable for indoor environments.

Overall dimensions are 17.97 in x 24 in x 24.5 in (456 mm x 610 mm x 622 mm), with usable mounting space of 15.75 in high x 19.00 in wide x 22.50 in deep (400 mm x 483 mm x 572 mm) for 9U of equipment. The four included square-hole rails accept 10-32 cage nuts and adjust over a mounting depth range of 9.84 in to 23.01 in, so switches, patch panels, and shallow servers can be positioned front to back.

Each SDC249U24BK ships as an enclosure with installed removable cover, four mounting rails with hardware, two installed plastic handles, ten 10-32 screws and cage nuts, and installation instructions. Assembly hardware is included; wall mounting hardware is not. An accessory panel supports 2.5", 2.0", 1-3/4", 1-3/8", 1-1/8", and 7/8" conduit knockouts, and fan-kit knockouts allow active cooling. Optional solid, vented, or cable-entry/fan locking doors and a conduit/fan cover panel are available in 9U sizes, and the cabinet is TAA-compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, and made in North America.
