Hammond SDC249U31BK 9U Enclosed Wall-Mount Cabinet, 31.5 in Deep

The SDC249U31BK is a 9U multi-mount wall-mount rack cabinet built to securely house 19-inch rack equipment where floor space is limited. It suits small network closets, retail and branch locations, telecom and low-voltage installations, office equipment storage, and edge or distributed network deployments that need an organized, protected install.

The cabinet is fabricated from 16-gauge steel (frame, cover and doors) with 12-gauge rails, finished in a black powder coat in RAL9005 Black. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant and provides a low-emitting, corrosion-resistant surface suitable for indoor environments. Static load ratings are up to 150 lb wall or ceiling mounted, and 800 lb freestanding, and the rails carry integrated rack unit markings.

Overall dimensions are 17.97 in x 24 in x 31.5 in (456 mm x 610 mm x 800 mm), with usable mounting dimensions of 15.75 in H x 19.00 in W x 29.50 in D (400 x 483 x 749 mm). Mounting depth is adjustable from 16.84 in minimum to 30.01 in maximum. Shipping weight is 62 lbs (28.12 kg).

SDC249U31BK ships as an enclosure with installed removeable cover, four mounting rails with hardware, two installed plastic handles, ten 10-32 screws and cage nuts (replacement kit CAGKIT1032-10), and installation instructions. Assembly hardware is included; wall mounting hardware is not. An accessory panel accepts 2.5", 2.0", 1-3/4", 1-3/8", 1-1/8" and 7/8" conduit knockouts, and fan knockouts allow optional fan kits for active cooling.

Optional 9U doors and panels are available separately: SDC9UD solid locking door, SDC9UVD vented locking door, SDC9USD cable entry/fan locking door and SDC9UCFP conduit/fan cover panel. The cabinet is TAA-compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant and manufactured in North America.
