Hammond SCREWM6-25 M6 Rack Mounting Screws, 25-Pack with Nylon Washers

SCREWM6-25 is a 25-piece clamshell pack of M6 rack mounting screws with factory-installed nylon washers, intended for IT and AV installers, electricians, facilities teams and OEM engineers mounting equipment into M6-threaded rack rails. Each screw is a Quadrex truss head design with a self-guiding pilot point that helps start threads quickly and reduces cross-threading during equipment installation.

The screws are made from low carbon steel, through hardened per ASME B18.6.3, with a black oxide coating for a professional appearance and wear resistance. The captive washer is black 6/6 nylon, 0.429"-0.439" outside diameter and 0.030"-0.040" thick, and helps protect painted rack rails and equipment faceplates from scratches as the screw is tightened.

Thread is M6-1.0 6g. Overall screw length is 0.720"-0.750", head diameter is 0.425"-0.448" and head height is 0.103"-0.118". The #2 combination Phillips square recess accepts both Phillips and Robertson (square) drivers, with a square penetration gaging depth of 0.060"-0.075", so technicians can work with whichever bit is already in the tool bag.
