Hammond SCREWM6-50 M6 Rack Mounting Screws, 50-Pack With Washers

SCREWM6-50 is a 50-piece package of M6 rack mounting screws with a self-guiding pilot point and a factory-installed nylon washer, intended for IT, network, AV and industrial installers mounting equipment into racks, wall cabinets and open frame racks. Each screw uses the Quadrex combination drive, so it can be driven with either a Phillips or a Robertson screwdriver.

The screw is made from low carbon steel, through hardened per ASME B18.6.3, with a black oxide coating for a professional appearance that resists wear. The captive washer is black nylon 6/6 with an outside diameter of 0.429"-0.439" and a thickness of 0.030"-0.040", helping protect painted rack rails and equipment faceplates from scratches as the screw is tightened.

Thread is M6-1.0 6g. The truss head measures 0.425"-0.448" in diameter and 0.103"-0.118" high, and overall screw length is 0.720"-0.750". The #2 combination Phillips square recess has a square penetration gaging depth of 0.060"-0.075".
