Hammond RP1370BFC Polycarbonate Clear Lid Enclosure, 186x146x90 mm Flange

RP1370BFC combines a polycarbonate body with a clear lid in the 186 x 146 x 90 mm size of the RP Series With Bottom Flange. It suits applications where displays or indicator LEDs must be seen through the cover, and where a UL94 V-2 flame rated material is wanted. The integral bottom flange allows direct screw mounting to panels, walls or equipment.

The lid seals with a two piece "tongue & groove" gasketed joint that protects against oil, dust and water; the enclosure is designed to meet IP65. A rubber gasket is included for field installation. Lid screws are self captivating M3.5 stainless steel machine screws (included) threaded into corrosion resistant bushings for repetitive assembly and disassembly. The part page lists the colour as Light Gray, while the series table files the clear-lid polycarbonate model under Off-White Polycarbonate.

Outside dimensions are 7.32 x 5.75 x 3.54 in (186 x 146 x 90 mm). The drawing shows an inside length of 178.21 mm, inside width of 138.21 mm and inside height of 83.33 mm, with a flanged overall length of 219.95 mm and 5.20 mm mounting holes on 205.00 mm centres. It accepts PC boards up to 173 x 134 mm, fixed with M3 self-tapping screws.

The RP1370BFC is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships in a bag at 1.1 lbs (0.50 kg). Solid models are available in .stp or .x_t for layout work, and the factory can mill, drill or print enclosures on quote.
