Hammond RP1285BFC Clear Lid ABS Watertight Box, 186x146x75 mm Flanged

RP1285BFC is the clear-lid member of the 186 x 146 x 75 mm size in the RP Series With Bottom Flange. The base is light gray ABS plastic and the lid is clear, making it a practical choice when technicians need to see LEDs, displays or wiring inside a sealed box without opening it. The integral bottom flange lets the enclosure be screwed directly to a mounting surface.

Protection comes from a gasketed two piece "tongue & groove" lid that resists oil, dust and water; the enclosure is designed to meet IP65. The included rubber gasket is field installed. The lid is held with self captivating M3.5 stainless steel machine screws (included) running into corrosion resistant bushings, for repetitive assembly and disassembly. The ABS material is flame rated UL94 HB.

External size is 7.32 x 5.75 x 2.95 in (186 x 146 x 75 mm). According to the drawing, the cavity is 177.51 mm long, 137.51 mm wide and 68.13 mm high, the flanged length is 219.95 mm, and the flange holes are 5.20 mm in diameter on 205.00 mm centres. PC boards up to 173 x 134 mm can be mounted on posts that accept M3 self-tapping screws.

The RP1285BFC is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships in a bag weighing 1.06 lbs (0.48 kg). Matching accessories are the STC128 plastic or STA128 aluminum inner panel, the RP128GASKET 2-pack, and the SC619-50 and SC622-50 screw packs. Factory milling, drilling and printing are offered on quote.
