Hammond RP1370BF 90 mm Deep Polycarbonate Flanged Watertight Enclosure

The RP1370BF is a polycarbonate enclosure in the RP Series With Bottom Flange, sized at 186 x 146 x 90 mm (7.32 x 5.75 x 3.54 in). It is aimed at designers and installers who want the UL94 V-2 flame rating of polycarbonate rather than the UL94 HB rating of the ABS versions, together with an opaque lid and a flange for direct surface mounting.

A gasketed lid with two piece "tongue & groove" construction keeps out oil, dust and water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP65. The rubber gasket is supplied and fitted in the field. Self captivating M3.5 stainless steel machine screws (included) engage corrosion resistant bushings, which suits enclosures opened often for service. The part page lists the colour as Light Gray, while the series ordering table groups this model under Off-White Polycarbonate.

The drawing gives an internal cavity of 178.21 x 138.21 x 83.33 mm, an overall length of 219.95 mm across the flange, and 5.20 mm flange holes spaced 205.00 mm apart. Boards up to 173 x 134 mm can be fitted, with PC board posts that accept M3 self-tapping screws. The extra height compared with the 75 mm size leaves more room for taller components.
