Hammond RH3155 165 x 82 mm Handheld ABS Enclosure, Light Gray

The RH3155 is a 165 x 82 x 32.5 mm (series table) enclosure in the RH Series of ABS hand-held instrument cases. The part page gives a nominal 6.5 x 3.15 x 1.26 in (165 x 80 x 32 mm). With extra length and height over the 25.5 mm sizes, it suits hand-held products with taller components. This is the version without a battery door.

It is molded in light gray general purpose ABS with a light texture, rated UL94 HB. Lap joint construction gives some protection against dust accumulation and splashing water, and the removable front panel eases modification. The lid is secured with M3-0.5 x 20 mm cover screws (replacement pack SC610-50); the series notes M3 machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings for repeated assembly and disassembly.

Maximum P.C. board size is 129.27 x 73.14 mm, on standoffs molded into both halves that accept M2.6 self-tapping screws. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid, 4 PCB screws, end panel and 4 lid screws; recommended torque is (43-50) Ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m.

RH3155 ships bagged at 0.27 lbs (0.12 kg), is REACH and RoHS compliant, and pairs with SC519-50 PCB screws and the CP-001G nylon belt clip kit. RH3155A adds a battery door.
