RH3135A is the battery-door version of the 120 x 72 mm RH Series hand-held enclosure. The series table lists 120 x 72 x 25.5 mm, and the part page gives a nominal 4.72 x 2.76 x 0.98 in (120 x 70 x 25 mm). It suits portable, battery-powered electronics that need a comfortable hand-held form and easy battery access.
The enclosure is molded in light gray general purpose ABS with a light texture; the material is rated UL94 HB. Lap joint construction provides some protection against dust accumulation and splashing water, and the front panel is removable for modification.
P.C. board standoffs are molded into both halves and accept M2.6 self-tapping screws. The assembly includes the box, lid, 4 PCB screws, end panel, battery door and 4 lid screws, with a recommended torque of (43-50) Ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m.
Replacement lid screws are SC520-50 (M2.6 x 18 mm self-tapping, pack of 50) and replacement PCB screws are SC519-50. A CP-001G nylon belt clip kit is available. RH3135A weighs 0.17 lbs (0.08 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant; RH3135 is the version without a battery door.
