RH3125A pairs the 120 mm RH Series hand-held enclosure with a battery door, giving battery-powered products a user-serviceable battery compartment in an ergonomic case. The series table sizes it at 120 x 62 x 25.5 mm, with a nominal 4.72 x 2.36 x 0.98 in (120 x 60 x 25 mm) on the part page.
The shell is light gray general purpose ABS with a light surface texture, and the material carries a UL94 HB flammability rating. Its lap joint provides some protection against dust accumulation and splashing water, and the removable front panel simplifies modification for connectors and switches.
Both halves contain molded P.C. board standoffs that take M2.6 self-tapping screws. Supplied with the box, lid, 4 PCB screws, end panel, battery door and 3 lid screws; tighten to (43-50) Ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m.
Replacement lid screws are SC520-50 (M2.6 x 18 mm self-tapping), PCB screws are SC519-50, and a CP-001G nylon belt clip kit is available. RH3125A weighs 0.15 lbs (0.07 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant. The non-battery-door equivalent is RH3125. The factory can also mill, drill or print enclosures to order, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t format.
