Hammond RH3125 120 x 62 mm Handheld ABS Enclosure, Light Gray

The RH3125 is a 120 mm long member of the RH Series of ABS hand-held enclosures, designed for mounting printed circuit boards in an ergonomic case that sits comfortably in the hand. The series table lists it at 120 x 62 x 25.5 mm; the part page gives a nominal 4.72 x 2.36 x 0.98 in (120 x 60 x 25 mm). This is the version without a battery door.

Construction is light gray general purpose ABS with a light texture and a UL94 HB flammability rating. A lap joint gives some protection against dust accumulation and splashing water, while a removable front panel lets you machine openings for cables, connectors or controls without disturbing the main shell.

P.C. board standoffs are molded into both halves and accept M2.6 self-tapping screws. The assembly includes the box, lid, 4 PCB screws, end panel and 3 lid screws, with a recommended torque of (43-50) Ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m.

For spares, order SC520-50 cover screws (M2.6 x 18 mm self-tapping) and SC519-50 PCB screws; the CP-001G nylon belt clip kit is also listed. RH3125 weighs 0.15 lbs (0.07 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant. A battery-door version is available as RH3125A.
